If you are entitled to participate in a tournament modern (Diamond & Pearl ERA), the original Pokemon cards (red and blue ISS) on the front page?

Maybe. If the tournament is in the form of "unlimited", then you can use any card expansion. However, if the tournament is in the format "day", then you can only use cards that are in the format currently defined. From 1 September 2008, the first extension provided that the change in Diamond & Pearl prohibited. It is a complete document here (http://www.southernmarylandpokemon.com/a ... you show all the cards currently legal.
It is also possible that some of their old cards have been issued in the new series again, and can also be used in tournaments in order to change it. The list of the cards here (http://www.dfwpokemon.com/docs/2008_2009 ...
